Cream & Blue

Yesterday, the sky was a rich blue which was the perfect contrast to this yellow building. We always keep on saying it...but here in Toruń you must always look up. When you do...the result it well worth it!

A Face Above

I know I keep saying it...but you really do need to keep looking up here in Toruń. Here is another quirky feature that you would miss if you kept looking just straight ahead. This face adorns a building in Szeroka.

LOOKING ABOVE: Town Hall Sightseeing

High above the streets of Toruń these tourists enjoy the view from the top of the Town Hall Tower. It's quite a few flights of narrow steps up there...but the view is for sure worth it!!

Following on from our Looking Above series...this one is kind of cheating as it's actually looking below...from above (high up in the Town Hall Tower). One of many beautiful buildings here in Toruń.

LOOKING ABOVE: Ornate Ceiling

Our looking above series continues...with this beautifully ornate ceiling. It's actually where you'll least likely to find it...in the vegetarian fast food restaurant 'Green Way'. The building in Ul. Łazienna was originally a bank...and the ceiling has remained the same. Once again, it's amazing what you can find when you look up!!

There are many joys to be had when one looks up here in Toruń. This building is bang in the middle of the main shopping street...but how many people actually notice this interesting relief work.
