Gateway to Toruń

This statue stands high on the top of the gateway leading into the west side of the old market square. What I love about Toruń is that you should always look up...as there are loads of quirky statues and architectural features.

Red-Bricked Beauty

I always keep on saying it...but when in Toruń, it's important to always look up! You never know what splendours you may see. Here is no exception. With its red-bricked beauty and gleaming turrets, one would expect this to be Toruń's railway station. Instead, it's merely a small shopping centre...built around the turn of the last century. Impressive indeed!!

What Are You Looking At?!

When you are in Manekin restaurant in Ul.Wysoka...a word of warning for all you men who may need to use the loo. DON'T LOOK UP!! Hee hee!!! Otherwise you'll have these nasty guys looking back down on you. This is a real fun and quirky ceiling!

LOOKING ABOVE: Town Hall Sightseeing

High above the streets of Toruń these tourists enjoy the view from the top of the Town Hall Tower. It's quite a few flights of narrow steps up there...but the view is for sure worth it!!
