This is how random life in Poland can be. You walk along the main street of Torun and sitting there, shading herself from the sun is a nurse offering to check strangers' blood pressure for a couple of zloties!

Night activity

This is the scene on Ul. Szeroka...the main street of Torun. This has changed a lot in the last 15-20 years with more western shop names such as Reserved, New Yorker and of course McDonalds (which is unfortuantely everywhere!).
