Room with a View

This close-up of the city walls of Toruń reveals an apartment with possibly the best balcony in town...overlooking the River Vistula. Would love to sit out there sipping a cup of tea and reading the morning paper.

Balcony

This balcony would make a great place to sit and relax in the warm summer months. Just a shame that it's so darn cold here at the moment (minus 20C!).

Beer and Bridge

Relaxing having a beer on the patio of the upmarket Bulwar Hotel. Today is Constitution Day here in Poland...which means another public holiday! Not that I am complaining!! ;-)

Toruń back streets

This is the view in Ul. Strumykowa looking towards the rear side of the buildings in Ul. Podmurna. I have always been fasinated with the wooden balcony structure of the building on the right. Somehow it just doesn't look safe...but I'm sure it is!
