Just south of Toruń!

TORUŃ DAILY PHOTO is back! Apologies for the delay but have been away working in the UK for the past couple of months. As you can see I am now back in Poland...and my jet flew just south of Toruń on its way to Warsaw airport. There is an airport in Bydgoszcz but only served by Ryanair.

Upon arrival at Warsaw Okęcie airport I tried the new train service that connects the airport with Warsaw Centralna station. Excellent! Gone are the days where you'll be stuck in heavy traffic jams.

Welcome back winter...and welcome back TORUŃ DAILY PHOTO. After a month of silence, we are back. Apologies to all our readers out there! Its only 2 weeks till Christmas and the snow is upon us here in Poland. Here is a view of the countryside just to the north of Toruń. Enjoy!

Sheltering from the Rain

Summer is clearly over here in Toruń...and this fine-looking black bird was sheltering from a recent downpour.
