How old is this coffee?

Spin the Styrofoam cup dial

Ha! I thought this spin the Styrofoam cup dial was so clever I had to take a picture of it. This coffee was made at 1:30 a.m. Since I took the picture around 9 a.m. I reckon it had been sitting there for a while.

Hope & Coffee

199 St. Philip St., Charleston, S.C.

Hope & Union
is the stylish new coffee shop on St. Philip St. I mentioned in an earlier post that I had a picture taken of the gate to the property long before it was renovated. I found a little frame for the print and yesterday I stopped by and gave it to them. They were pretty tickled. I expect you will find it tucked away somewhere when you stop by for a cuppa coffee. Just say, "Where is Joan's picture of your old gate?"

In other news, it's too darn cold to go for a walk and someone has to eat this leftover whiskey cake. I reckon that would be me.

A refreshing cuppa!

There is nothing like a good ole cup of coffee under the sun. As you can see the gloomy weather of Easter has long since gone...and we now have beautiful clear blue skies and alot of sunshine. This photo was taken yesterday in one of the many summer "beer gardens" that have now popped up around the main square of ToruĊ„.
