Skyping with Paddy

This is the lazy day in age that we live in. Take our friend Patrick for example. We only live a short distance away...but it's much easier to meet up with each other on Skype than it is to meet in person. The lazy world of the internet! ;-)

Happy Birthday Paddy!

We interupt our Toruń by Night series to bring special birthday greetings to our regular guest Patrick Skipton! Today is his 29th birthday...may it be a good one Paddy! The image is a montage of pictures taken by Toruń Daily Photo of Patrick's adventures here in Toruń. It was presented to him as one of his presents.

Our series Toruń by Night continues tomorrow.

"That's not a mushroom Agnieszka!"

The caption says it all! Our regular guest Patrick Skipton up to his usual tricks again...this time in the beautiful forests north of Toruń.
Mushroom picking is very popular around September every year, when hundreds of people flock to the neighbouring forests, buckets in hand...trying to find some scrumptious mushrooms to take home. There are many varieties of mushrooms in Polish forests...and you must be aware of which ones are edible and which ones are poisionous. Cases of mushroom poisioning are still quite common each year here in Poland.

Here is the star of Toruń Daily Photo, Patrick Skipton feeling a little worse for wear after a BIG night out in the city. As you can see there are many places to have good fun here in Toruń! Why don't you come along as well!!!

A Brit, a Pole...and the Pigs!

Here is a candid moment as my Polish wife chats to British Patrick, whilst walking down the Bulwar (Boulevard) that lines the River Vistula. Watch out though guys...as the Polish Police are right behind you!!!
