Here are some mushrooms that are growing wild on a tree trunk. Of course Patrick Skipton had to get in on the act!

Hansel and Gretel

This is the famous Hansel and Gretel fountain in Ciechocinek. You can see that the weather is so hot at the moment that kids are using the fountain as a makeshift swimming pool!

This was the scene on a Friday afternoon at a local restaurant in Ciechocinek. You can see why the spa town is popular with the oldies! Get your dancing shoes out!

Salt Towers

These are the huge saline graduation towers unique to the small spa town of Ciechocinek. The town situated close to Toruń, is famous for its spa and thousands of people (mainly old) flock to one of the numerous sanitoriums for some remedy.

The towers were built in the 19th Century and are used to evaporate water from brine. You can climb the structures (15,8m high) for some great views!
