Girl, Interrupted
"Suzie! Time for dinner!"
"Okay!"
Scuffle scuffle run run run blam! In the chair.
"Did you wash your hands?"
"Aw, Mom, I'm hungry!"
"I don't care, wash your hands."
"Mom..."
"Wash."
Chair scooch. Stomp stomp stomp. Splash.
"Good. Did you pick up your toys?"
"........"
Towel flip.
"........Yup."
"Fine. Let's eat."

Wooden Souvenirs
The summer months are a busy time for Toruń as hordes of German and Polish tourists descend on the city. In May/June it's also a popular place for endless groups of school kids visiting from other cities. To cash in on the tourists there are many little wooden shacks selling an assortment of souvenirs...mainly representing Toruń's Teutonic knights era. Wouldn't like to be hit by one of those wooden axes though!! :D

Zen Monday: #104

Well, how 'bout that? It's Zen Monday all over again, the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. There's no competition, no right or wrong. We're here to have fun.
I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion. Because sometimes it's a little too close to home.
