Teaching Some Beatles!

Yesterday, we descended on Toruń's Music School to teach the kids (and their parents) a song in English. We chose the famous (and pretty easy to sing) "Yellow Submarine". Using flashcards and the TEFL technique of back-chaining, my fellow colleague and I managed to teach all the lyrics in about 20 mins. Not bad going!

Rod Rocks Toruń!

Last night, Rod Stewart was live in Toruń! He performed all his greatest hits to many Polish fans at the MotoArena stadium. This is the 2nd time that a big name has come to Toruń; last year Jose Carreras also peformed. If this is to become a regular occurrence...then who will it be next year? Madonna?!!
