Leash Laws

They just crossed the street from Pasadena into Altadena. I didn't notice if this big dog was on a leash, but I think so. After all, we do have laws, and a leash comes in handy for leading your dog across the street, regardless of his size.

Boz loves dogs like this. He wants very much to meet one and would gladly present himself if we allowed him to. Once again, the leash comes in handy.

Keeping Warm

Warming up at a Toruń bus stop!

Our thermometer only a few minutes ago!

With temperatures currently as low as minus 18C, one is certainly feeling the cold here in Poland. To help combat the cold, Toruń (and am sure other Polish cities) have resorted back to a technique from the communist past. At various bus stops around Toruń there are literally fires burning to help warm up those waiting for a bus. A great idea...though can't see it catching on in the UK. Not very health & safety!

Homeward Bound (in ALL weathers!)

Toruń's main bus station is always the centre of activity...even when its way below zero and loads of snow! This is the main point of call for local commuters coming into Toruń by bus. Most tourists arrive by train to the station from Warsaw.

Zen Monday: #24

On Zen Monday you experience the photo and tell us what it's about, rather than me telling you what to experience from viewing it.
There's no right or wrong.
If the photo evokes something in you, that's all it is.
