The Peirogi Mural

Pierogarnia Stary Toruń is a popular eatery in town. It specialises in pierogis...or dumplings. To be honest, the word dumpling doesn't give it justice. The oven-baked pierogis can be best described as a cornish pasty!!

As you can see the restaurant has decorated its exterior with this eye-catching mural.

The Knight in Shining Armour

This knight has been standing, watching over the bustling street of Most Pauliński for many years. A few years ago it was restored and will no doubt continue to watch over the street for many more years to come.

Old German Sign

Toruń was once part of Germany (then it was called Thorn)...and was occupied by the Nazis. Most of the remnants from the Germans have since gone...but there is still the odd German sign if you know where to look. This one is on the corner of Ul. Strumykowa and Most Pauliński.
