This impressive mansardic residence at 67 Prospect Street was probably built by Israel Waterhouse, a pork dealer in Boston. Its ornamental details point to the Second Empire architectural period and this is one of Quincy's finest examples. This imposing structure is difficult to get a very good picture of and could use some serious maintenance before nature takes its toll. Children in this Wollaston Hill neighborhood think it looks like a "haunted house" . . . I'd have to agree with them.
