The Cherry Blossom

Such a contrast 2 weeks make. When I went to the speedway game it was bitterly cold, now Poland is experiencing a real heatwave with temperatures as high as 31C!! Here is a picture of our cherry blossom.

The weather here in Poland at the moment is very strange. Long spells of hot weather mixed with long spells of cold weather. In early April, Spring had come early and the blossoms were blooming. However, with temperatures ranging from +25C one day down to sub-zero temperatures the next...it's not surprising that many plants have been affected.

This is a picture of the blossom on our cherry tree...which although still beautiful has been affected by frost.
