Sunday is for Temple

Quincy is the home of 2 Buddhist Temples. The one pictured here is the Thousand Buddha Temple (Budhi Siksa Society)located just outside Quincy Center. Services are held on Sundays at 9:30am. This is the second largest Chinese Buddhist Temple in New England.

Sabbath is for Temple

Quincy has a small Jewish population who attend the Temple Beth El on Hancock Street. Due to a shift in the population, two other temples had to close.
