This poignant picture was taken around 6.50am this morning just north of ToruĊ. You can just make out the flash of the truck full of animals (most likely pigs as pork is very popular here in Poland) as it makes its way to a rural slaughterhouse.You can also see that yes (despite all the lovely greenery of the past few days), Poland is once again covered by a blanket of thick snow. When will this winter end? From one misery to another...
