This is one of the few Zabka shops that we have in Torun. The shops stock groceries, drinks, snack food, newspapers and magazines and are open from 6am to 11pm. I had a strange experience a few months ago in this very Zabka store. Went to get a bar of chocolate and queued up at the counter to pay. The young (and rather dim) cashier scanned by chocolate in...but then refused to take my money as the chocolate didnt come up on her screen and she didnt know how much it was (she couldnt even bother to check!). So I had to forgoe my favourite chocolate all because the incompentent staff forgot to add the price to the till!Incidentally the word Zabka derives from the Polish word "zaba" which means frog. Hence the picture on the logo!
