Lock It Up!

I like the circles and shadows of this bicycle rack at the new high school.

Happy Monochrome Monday!

Park and Ride

I like the many touches of yellow in this picture at the Wollaston train lot. It's great to see some bicycles parked here.

Worker Series

This is Dave Forsyth, one of the friendliest and most helpful bike shop owners I have had the pleasure to know over the last couple of decades. Dave has owned and operated Dave's Bike Infirmary on Granite Ave. for 32 years; he has added two sons to his team of bike experts. You can see his web site here. I wish the roads were safer for bicyclists around here.

Do you bicycle much?

This stairway is on the side of the Neponset Bridge. It looks like it could use some maintenance work.

Bike Parking

It's nice to see the new bike racks being used at Wollaston Beach. If you enlarge the picture you'll notice a cup holder in one of the baskets . . . very handy. I'm curious about the extra tire here . . . perhaps it belongs to a unicycle.

Bike Parking

We have a few bicycle commuters but it looks as though we could use some more parking for these eco-friendly folks at Quincy Center T station. Have a great week.

Empty rack

This bicycle rack is ready and waiting for the season to begin. I couldn't resist the long shadows produced by the late afternoon sun.
