Wow, today's post certainly has the claim of having the longest title ever on Toruń Daily Photo. Many are probably wondering what has Copernicus got to do with today's post? You may know of the popular saying that Copernicus stopped the sun and moved the Earth. If you weren't familiar with this; it is inscriped in Latin on the plinth of Copernicus' statue here in Toruń.Still, what has Copernicus got to do with moving all this snow? Well...on Friday there will be a huge event here at Toruń's Cathedral...and the local cleaners were out in force to remove most of the snow around the cathedral.
I won't give too many secrets away about the event just yet. But all I can reveal is that the great astronomer will be the main focal point of the event...literally! Tune in on Friday to learn more!
