Travel Tuesday: Campobello Island

Grab your passport because today we are crossing the FDR Memorial Bridge into New Brunswick, Canada, to view the picturesque Mulholland Point Lighthouse on Campobello Island.  The wooden octagonal shaped forty-four foot lighthouse was put into operation in 1885, around the time that Campobello was becoming a popular summer colony for wealthy Canadians and Americans.  The light was decommissioned in 1963 and now belongs to the Roosevelt Campobello International Park.
