day 124 - the beauty of the everyday

The one thing that project 365 has taught me is that there is beauty in every day. There is a photo to be captured, a story to be told and you have to make the most of every single day. It makes you take notice of things you otherwise wouldn't.

I've been driving by this little road by the university for thirteen years and it wasn't until I started project 365 that I really noticed these trees.

Tonight I stopped to take this picture. I stood in the middle of that little road looking like an idiot, double parked and jumping in and out of my car to let the cars pass. I finally got the shot I was looking for and it's a good thing I did because 45 minutes later it was hailing and by Monday the blooms were gone.
