Back in the city.....

In complete contrast to our day in the country on Sunday, where the sun was shining and the birds were singing lalala! back here in the city Monday was grey and overcast (to be fair it was probably the same in the country!). It was also Western Australia Day formerly known as Foundation Day and I thought it being a holiday that the city would pretty much be deserted, but not so, the parks along the river were teeming with Perthites walking, jogging, cycling, picnicking and later when we went into the city the cafes were overflowing, so good to see. These two shots were taken looking across the river to the city, if you look carefully at the shot below up in the top centre you can see that lurking behind this dense covering there's a spot of blue trying to break out! I have a feeling the tables are about to be turned and that it'll be moi admiring more of your blue skies, it's a good thing that I love winter! Have a fab day, stay safe.....
