A Perigee Moon.....
If you looked up and checked out the moon last night you might have noticed that it was a little larger than normal. This May the full moon is a 'perigee moon' dubbed by NASA scientists as the Super Moon of 2012. For those of you who like facts and figures that means it is 14% bigger, 30% brighter and 12.2% closer than a normal full moon. If you click on the link there's another link to some of the photo's from last years super moon which was in March. I decided that as there were so many conventional super moon images out there I'd have a little play with mine, which roughly translated means that my shot was totally rubbish and I had to do something to make it look a wee bit more interesting haha! Hope you had a great weekend and are all geared up for the week ahead.....!
