The 'good' wind.....!
When P walked the (Bibbulmun Track) back at the end of 2010, he came home with some amazing images, these being a few of them. The theme for CDP'ers today is electricity. I know many countries around the world are now using wind turbines as a source of energy, but I'm wondering how many are in such rugged, remote and incredibly beautiful areas like the Albany Wind Farm which is situated about 12klms south west of Albany. The 18 wind turbines are elevated 80mtres above the Southern Ocean close to the coastline, near the main electricity transmission system, making this the perfect site to capture the power of the 'Roaring Forties'.....
