day 269 - back to the arena

The first night of skating was tonight. If I remember correctly now that we are five weeks in, it's the only week that the boys have gone onto the ice of their own free will and not crying their eyes out.

I'd like to thank the entourage of grandparents who helped get the kids picked up from the babysitter and onto the ice. Your efforts and frustration were well worth the 30 minutes of peace I got. It's so nice not to have to chase anybody this year.
