the joy of love - together

I'm not a girly person. I don't have much of a clue when it comes to makeup and rarely wear it. I'm not big on jewelery and I have a pair of Converse All Stars in the closet downstairs that are older than some of my cousins. I own one purse at a time and don't usually buy a new one until the current one falls apart.

With that being said, there is one girly thing I do on a regular basis - paint my toenails. It's a necessity if you are going to rock a pair of flip flops.

While I have no immediate plans to rock flip flops due to three feet of snow on the ground, my daughter requested that we have a foot bath party today when she got home from school.



The joy of love assignment for today is "together (self portrait)". The requirement was that the photographer had to be in the shot with their loved one.

Nobody said it had to be my face.
