day 187 - the art of sarcasm $

Every week this bottle gets filled up and taken to the soccer field for Ava's game. She continued to drink from it tonight when she got home after her game. It's rare that the kids get a treat before bed, but I needed to eat my dinner and it's hard to do when there are three kids sitting in your lap, so I busted out the potato sticks for them.



Lately Ava has been watching me pretty closely and she's come out with some interesting and funny things from big words to expressions. While I was sitting on the couch eating my dinner, I heard her say:

"Way to go, boys. Just what I wanted - hickory sticks floating in my water."

You know what that means. I taught Ava all about sarcasm! Bravo. ;)
