Rock star in the making

Today was a great day. Today was my day off and Ava and I got a lot done. Best of all we got to see my friend Charlene who was here from Winnipeg. And we even had time for me to take a pile of pictures. Here are a few of them. Today was also the first day that I really found my groove with my new camera. It's not that easy switching to a new camera - different lens, different feel, different controls, different weight, etc. but I think I am finally getting somewhere. Thanks for looking!

Ava's favourite song is "Grace Kelly" by Mika. I taped The Tonight Show a few weeks back because I knew he was on and every time we play it, she bounces up and down on her bum, squeals and spins in a circle. Occasionally she even throws her hands up the air and points when he does...

A diehard Keith Urban fan already. I listened to Keith Urban non-stop when I was pregnant with Ava and I still listen to it whenever we go anywhere. The second she hears his voice, she stops whatever she is doing and crawls to the tv to watch him. The kid's got great taste already...
