Here is the great man himself Nicolaus Copernicus in front of the famous statue that commemorates his life. But why is he carrying a bag of money in his right hand?!!! Well...OK...its not Copernicus...but a university student dressed up as him!!!This weekend, it was the annual student piss-up "Juwenalia" where students dress up in costumes and literally beg for their drink money!!! It's funny as most of the citizens of Toruń willingly give their cash away to the students...but its a different matter with the homeless. Then again the students do only beg once a year!!!
