The Graffiti Face

Looking down from above is this artistically impressive blue graffiti face. The artwork can be found inside ToruĊ„'s Miasto train station...and I have no idea how long it's been up there. Nor do I know whether it's legal or not...but my guess is the latter. Graffiti is still a problem here in Poland...though for sure it has improved over the past 8 years.

LOOKING ABOVE: More interesting relief work

There are many joys to be had when one looks up here in ToruĊ„. This building is bang in the middle of the main shopping street...but how many people actually notice this interesting relief work.

LOOKING ABOVE: Interesting Relief

Here at TORUĊƒ DAILY PHOTO you learn to look up...and often you are rewarded with seeing something that you hadn't noticed before! Here is an interesting relief on the side of a building in Ul. Rabianska...which although has been there for years and years...had escaped our attention!

The joys of being an eagle-eyed photographer!

Provacative

Graffiti is still a big problem here in Central/Eastern Europe. It varies from masterpieces - pure works of art to graffiti which is actually darn right ugly. This provactive piece of work leans more towards the latter, though it is still very striking. And yes...a figure of Jesus Christ with a gun is always going to get people talking.

Harry Potter or The Wizard of Oz?...

...you tell me?! But, this Polish fountain centre piece really does have an element of kitsch fantasy to it. And where can you find it? In the entrance area of a local medical centre of all places!
