On Friday evening the Mayor of Perth opened the new addition to Forrest Place. Perfect timing, the weather was up in the 30C's on Saturday when I took these shots and it was already being enthusiastically appreciated! The Water Labyrinth, an 'interactive water sculpture' using recycled water created by Berlin based Jeppe Hein who many of you probably know through his sculptures and installations all around the world, is his first permanent work here in Australia. With summer and the school holidays looming I think parents will have to remember to pack a towel and change of clothes when they head into the city with their offspring, I might just take one myself, it lookes super cool fun...for all ages!!
