Weekend in Sydney.....

Home again! It feels a little surreal to head off on a four hour trip at 11.30am and arrive at your destination at 6.30pm. (Two hour time difference plus extra hour daylight saving), it's a shame the West voted against daylight saving, must make it awkward at times for businesses! Luckily I checked the weather forecast the night before we left, and threw in a few extra jumpers and jackets, it was wet and wintry when we arrived, not that it stopped us having a fab night out with D&C to celebrate my birthday. Sydney has got to be right up there as one of the most exciting cities in the world, so many wonderful old buildings and a very fast pace. Here are just a couple of shots that took my fancy, who doesn't love fresh flowers after a shower....
Even though the weather was a bit dodgy on the Friday, a stroll around Circular Quay is always a treat. This group of young school girls were enthralled by the stories and the sounds of the didgeridoo.....
Finally on the Sunday afternoon the weather had cleared up perfectly and after a walk through the Botanical Gardens, we found ourselves a spot to sit and enjoy my very favourite view of all, the Sidney Harbour Bridge.. Having only arrived home this afternoon and being totally deficient in sleep (hotel beds are the worst!) I'll catch up tomorrow. I have to say one of the highlights of my trip was catching up for a coffee (two actually) with Julie (Sydney Eye) we could have done with another hour or two haha! Catch you tomorrow, take care and stay safe.....
