Here's Jon's description of his find:
"This photograph is just outside the Settle Inn right outside Lincoln, Nebraska. It's a chain of hotels, but I believe they're mostly midwestern. I'm not certain if all their hotels go this all out, but they certainly seem to have here in Lincoln! A sentry tower sits just outside where weary travelers may enter and take a load off their weary feet (err, well, GPS-equipped, climate-controlled automobiles, that is). A knight in full medieval armor sits atop his steed, as if guarding the entrance.
"I've passed by this hotel countless times, but since hearing about your photo contest accompanying the exciting prospect of your novel being published, it gave me the opportunity I should have taken long ago to get up close and snap a photo of this unique, Nebraskan 'Camelot.'"
Thank you, Jon! I'm so glad you did.

Happy Monday! The winner of last week's Camelot Where You Are photo contest is Susan Z with entry #7, the Hotel Del Coronado! Susan wins a free copy of Camelot & Vine as soon as it's published. Thank you, Susan, and thank you all for your wonderful entries. I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying the contest and I hope you are, too.
I've figured out how to show you the results: screen shots! I think it's best, in the interest of full disclosure. So here are the shots:
Week 2
Week 1
I've received so many entries to the Camelot Where You Are photo contest that we're skipping Zen Monday this week. We'll do so next week as well. PDP gets the most traffic on weekdays and I want to make sure every entry gets the best possible audience.

Then be sure to vote over the coming weekend for your favorite of this week's entries. Each weekly winner receives a free copy of Camelot & Vine upon publication in October. Publication day, whatever day it turns out to be, will be the final day for entries.
