Along with kangaroos and kookaburras, the koala bear, which is really not a bear at all, is probably one of the most iconic Australian animals. Unfortunately here in Australia we are plagued by bushfires in the summer, many deliberately started which I find so hard to understand. The koala and the many native animals that live in the bush are the victims of this senseless crime and it breaks my heart to think of them suffering such a horrendous fate, the animals surviving, confused and terrified. Thankfully there are dedicated teams of animal rescuers (please watch the video it certainly made me tear up) out there that search the bush after such disasters and do everything they can to save the surviving animals. Thank the Lord for them and may they continue to do such a fantastic job.....! The theme for February is animals, Click here to view thumbnails for all participants
