The circus is coming to town this weekend. "Cyrk Korona" will be descending on ToruĊ for one day only tomorrow (Saturday 19th March). They claim to have a new programme but also in big capital letters claim that they have more than 60 animals. Yes...circuses here in Poland are still a million years away from those in Britain where animal rights activists have quite rightly won. If you look carefully at the poster, you can see that this circus has camels, zebras and even an ostrich! At least there doesn't look like there are any elephants or lions (but a few years ago they were still very apparent in Polish circuses).
