Pasadena Sandwich Company

I kept meaning to try the Pasadena Sandwich Company but there was never a parking space in front.

Well, duh.

There's a parking lot in back. They have plenty of parking.

Inside they have plenty of clocks, plenty of hats and plenty of food. My Veggie Supreme was so big I was able to eat only half (great bread).

And I had to post two pictures just to show you the hats. It's a hat wonderland. I'm sure there's a story behind it but they were closing (don't try to go after 2:30pm on weekdays, 3pm Saturdays, closed Sundays). I was the last one in there and I didn't engage the waitress in that particular conversation.

By the way, the waitress was as nice as pie. Hmm. I'm looking, I'm looking...I took a menu with me... Nope. No pie. But sandwiches galore, all kinds, very fresh. Also sides, green salads and drinks (tasty pink lemonade). Simple.

And hats. I don't know why. I don't want to know. The hats give the place a certain je ne sais quois and knowing why would defeat that mystique, don't you think?
