This is an architectural detail, or carving, of two cranes, on the Coletti Building (3rd expansion of the library in 1939) of the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy Center. The cranes are flanking the letters "TCPL," which is how some refer to the library. The carving is by Quincy artist Joseph A. Coletti.
